The company

ShareWood is a Swiss company group which is a pioneer in the sustainable cultivation of forests and plantations. Its motto, to which it adheres at all times, is «profit & nature in harmony».

Investing in harmony with nature

Our vision

As leading producer of top-quality high-grade woods, we protect nature and rain forests against excessive deforestation and clearing, and we do so in a responsible and sustainable manner. We turn people into tree owners and encourage each individual to take responsibility for the environment and our planet.

Our mission

Sustainable planting and resource-friendly cultivation are prerequisites for our production. We see our clients as ambassadors with strong convictions and inspire them with our core values of quality, sustainability, integrity and respect.

Our strategy

In the field of timber management, we produce high-quality teak and eucalyptus wood and use it to develop innovative products, which are then distributed under the exclusive ShareWood brand. Our goal is to cultivate 30,000 hectares of plantations by 2020, which would make us the world’s leading producer of high-grade wood.

Brazil as a location

«A cultivated forest is constantly growing. It takes CO2 from the atmosphere and absorbs many times more damaging carbon than an uncultivated forest.»

Dr Joachim Krug, World Forestry Institute

Our cultivation area in Mato Grosso boasts outstanding climactic conditions, considerable land reserves and ideal soils. What is more, our plantations are not threatened by extreme weather events such as tsunamis and hurricanes and are located in a country with a growing domestic market.
